This spot is easily one of my favorites. It has a really distinct vibe you don’t find just anywhere, plus the rooftop views are some of the best in Austin. It’s an ideal place to meet up with friends, have a few drinks, and play some pool. And if Marc is working the bar, you’re in for a great time—he keeps things fun, makes excellent drinks, and somehow convinces you to stay longer than you meant to.

I love this place so much. The atmosphere is super cool and unique & this bar has one of the best rooftop spots in Austin. Great place to grab drinks with friends and hangout for a game of pool. If you’re lucky enough to have Marc behind the bar, prepare to laugh, have a spectacular drink and probably stay much longer than planned! He is the absolute best!

Flowershop really does have one of the best pool tables I can think of in Austin. Leopard print? Check. Amazing View of the skyline? Check. Solid drinks slung by great bartenders? Check. Speaking of, Lilah Nguyen is fantastic. I've been in there on a Tuesday happy hour a few times after work and she always provides great conversation and service that effortlessly makes it feel like a genuine interaction between friends. She also can make a pretty great drink (or opening a bottle of beer) Do yourself a favor and check the place out for hh. You wont be disappointed

My sister mistakenly booked Flower Bar in New York for my sisters bachelorette party, so imagine her surprise when we didnt have reservations in Austin! 🤣 every single employee, however, was so understanding with the mistake. No reservations were needed and our rooftop bartender, Dylan, made the night absolutely perfect. He was so attentive, personable, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was fantastic (get the fries!!), the drinks were lovely, and the ambiance was exceptional.

Come for the vibes, not the food. Vibes + atmosphere… 10/10. Food & drinks… 5/10. The ambiance and decor are *very* well done — you really do feel like you’ve stepped back into the 70s, especially if you sit inside. Old school rock & roll music is great. The food was just okay (we came for brunch), but the drinks were probably the most disappointing, especially given the price point. If I’m paying $16+ for a cocktail I don’t want tall, low quality highball glass with a bunch of ice. This places “sweet spot” would probably be grabbing a bottled beer with some good friends, sitting up top on their rooftop patio, and watching the sunset over downtown. Or a good darty spot.
